Hi! I’m Grace, and I am looking for my forever home! It would be best if I can have a
playmate. I have a sister, Mocha, who is also for adoption. While we don’t have to be
adopted together, it would be nice. Otherwise, I would like a playmate. I have three
sisters and a brother (5 babies total).
 I want to be a fully inside only cat.
 I like to play with my toys and carry them around the house; and I know how to
use a litter box. I do suckle on a teddy bear after I eat. I like to use my
scratching post, and I know my name. I run around a lot, so watch out for me
zooming by! I am very fast and can scoot by without you noticing.
 As a baby, I am very curious. I’m learning a lot, and I am still in the kitten
phase. I do play rough sometimes. Please be patient and kind as I grow up.
 The big cats at our foster home don’t know what to think about us kittens. They
have different reactions. They play in the other room while we play in the house.
To be fair, I do like to hiss at them through the windows in the door.  I think I’m
a big cat already!
 People are great cat trees. I love jumping on my mom’s back and play with her
hair or purr in her ear. I am a sweet girl for sure.
Notes from foster:
This is our first time doing this. Grace is a little purr box. She is showing more
love/affection each day which makes this so hard! Sometimes, she has blood in her
stool, but it has been lessening over time. She is NOT sickly, though. In stressful
times, like the adoption events, she usually has a little bit afterwards. There is a
medication for this, but it is very bitter. The Vet at Forest West, our personal vet, is

not too concerned; and we use the FortiFlora for all the kitties, per their
recommendation.
 Food: Iams kitten dry food (purple bag); Iams kitten wet food; Weruva wet
food packets-chicken & tuna, chicken; Fancy Feast kitten food-chicken;
mainly chicken and turkey flavors. We haven’t really fed them many seafood
flavors.
 Supplements: Purina FortiFlora several days a week within the wet food and
on dry food. Since we are feeding five, I just sprinkle about half a packet on
their group wet food feeding, and I put the rest on the dry food. You can
probably spread it out over the day or a couple of days if you do not do a
group feeding.
 Vaccines: June 6 (Forest West Animal Clinic) and June 23 (Third Coast)
 Flea meds: June 19 (revolution for kittens)
 Chipped through Third Coast
 Commands: We are trying to teach them as best as possible.
o No scratching! - when the cats start scratching on the furniture. Then
praise her for stopping-thank you; good job.
o Get down, please! -when she gets on the fireplace mantle. Then
praise her for stopping-thank you; good job.
o No! No! No!- when she and her siblings climb the window sheers. I
have to physically pull them down sometimes. I tell them, “We do not
play in the sheers! We don’t work for Cirque du Soleil!” Thank you if
they get down without my assistance.

 DOORS: We DO NOT open doors that lead outside because they are really
fast at sneaking by. We have come out of the bathroom only to realize later
that they snuck in. When doing a head count, that is the first place we check.
They are really FAST.
 They like to hide behind the dresser in their room and have since we first
brought the babies inside. They need to feel safe and hidden until they warm
up to their new home.
 Other cats: Some of the big cats growl at the babies or swipe at them. We try
to not let that happen a lot, but I guess they are teaching the babies hierarchy.
